The Perfect Valentine...

Hmmm.. So, is there any particular valentines day that you remember?..somebody "special" who made the day "special"?..thought of him?..Ok..Good! now STOP thinking about him..Because i'm sure the following list of hotties will anyway make you forget.. :P. 

Following is the list of some people who I would characterize as the "Perfect Valentines"

Ryan Gosling  :) --> Mr. Gorgeous alert !!...

Isn't he just amazing..if you still haven't seen crazy stupid love or my blue valentine.. Then PLEASE download them today itself and watch his brilliant acting..and off course the SuperGoodLooks are hard to miss..!

Mr. David Beckham --> Hes a dream ! :)

Everybody remembers the weird girl in Bend it like Beckham who went so gaga over him that started playing football..!..LOL. But yea, his looks and his charm are enough to make any girl go cuckoo..even just by looking at him from the television ! :o 

Mr. Ashton Kutcher--> *mwahs*

He is just SO CUTE!..whether its Alot like Love or That 70's Show..or even the new seasons of Two n a Half men or No Strings Attached...(both of which i only saw because of him and absolutely nothing else)..this guy just wins you over with his tall-goofy-casual yet sooo dreamy charm. His smile lights up a thousand bulbs..somewhere..sigh :)

 

Mr. Timberlake--> had me at "friends with benefits" 

Its true..I didn't like him so much before. Even in  the social network..I was just mildly impressed..but Friends with Benefits is so far one of the movies I can watch again & again. I guess..a lot of not liking him came from the fact that he dated Britney Spears as a teenage pop-star..Plus his music..whether in N'SYNC or individually, had a few songs I liked but wasn't hugely part of my playlist ever..

The only Desi boy who I think would fall in the category of MY PERFECT valentines..His looks are cute..given..But thats not it..I like him for the unusual movies he does (socha na tha..such a cute movie!) and the fact that he is not like his cousins ( u know those with the dhai kilo ka haath) everything else is pretty wonderful about him..except that he has a very weird looking girlfriend ! :o ..sorry.. need to keep such jealousies under control..LOL

Other contenders from the Desi Boyz team, who ALMOST made it were Ranbir Kapoor, Imran khan and uhm...well....uhm....right, NO ONE!!.. yes thats the plight.. :(

So, anyway girls..non-celebrity boyfriends will come and go and please don't judge those poor souls on celebrity standards because then you will either be forever sad or forever alone..And no one wants that..

Anyway my dearies, on a brighter note, who is YOUR PERFECT VALENTINE??.. Do watch his movie/game/show/music video today! And if you feel like comment below and share :)

26 Favorites of 2012

2012  has ended very badly, not just for me but for the entire country. I'm still trembling from the horrific incident that took place in my own city where I USED TO roam around freely. I'm scared now. Its high time the Indian government takes steps to ensure women's safety in public spaces. In 2013 we can just hope that, the brave girl's death would not go in vain and she and countless other victims like her would get justice.

I wanna shake this fear off and to distract myself I have finally decided to write about anything but THAT. It was a mixed year for me, tablespoons of good and teaspoons of bad. So here I am, penning down some of my favorite stuff from last year..just a quick walk through memory lane (sort of ;) )

A-- ADELE..no explanation required there.
B--BOOTS (new fetish) & BBM (even works on wireless now.. :)) )
C-- CHEESECAKE!! I love it..(My) most had dessert in 2012  !!
D-- Daniel Craig..skyfall!!..Is there anything left to say?!?.. he is SO HOTT!

E-- Eco-friendly.. a good thing to be ! you can read my posts on it HERE
F-- Forever 21!.. Yes its sad how late i discovered the advantages of having forever 21 in my city and reasonably near my house..but yay!..so many hauls :D

G-- Gossip Girl.. I have LOVED the show since I started watching it..but this last year it ended...i'm sad but  its a completion of another series !

H-- Honey Singh. his music is totally awesome or what!..Before I used to be all like "honey singh..oh whatever" but then this friend of mine made me listen to SO many of his songs..SO many times, that I couldn't help but grove to his beats myself!.. :D

I-- Indonesia....great place..and people are so damn sweet :)
J-- Jugni..the song from Cocktail..Its just tooo GOOD..i actually love all songs from that movie but this & Yaarian are my favorites! you can read my review of the movie HERE
K-- 'KEEP CALM' I'm a total fan of this poster range which was rediscovered last year..Its brilliant ! ;)

L-- Lipstick(S)..had one favorite all throughout 2011..in 2012 i have four ! :*
M-- Movies..movies are my favorite pastime every year..but last year I feel I've seen ALOT..downloads, new releases, dvds, showcase..everywhere!..
N-- Nerd Look; Got specs this year right..so got the nerd look by default..HAD to love it.. :)
O-- Online Shopping...from shops on Facebook to flipkart,zovi, urban touch etc etc...SO many packages on my door this year...yay ! :)

P-- POUTS; this would always remain..duck-face pictures come out well. Period. Too bad if you don't agree.
Q-- Quilts..I know it sounds kinda lame..but if sleep is an important part of your life..you WILL love your quilts as much as i do *heeheehee*
R-- Robinhood Pandey...LOL..Dabanng 2 was much better than Dabanng 1 and Salman Khan looks just too good in a mustache ! ;)

S-- Singapore & SUPERWOMAN watch her videos..shes too much fun !
T-- Travel..and SO MUCH of it...visiting new places..is awesome!..totally LOVED 2012 for that
U-- Undo..i wish life had that button..(just a thought)
V-- (the) Velvet Underground..although I was introduced to this band in 2011..I actually paid attention to them last year..u know..searched for their songs and stuff..and really ended up listening to some on repeat..!

W--Whatsapp..! yes.. and I feel technologically backward for not realizing its koolness before 2012..but better late than never yea?..FYI..I'm not so fond of its emoticons..
X-- Xmas Cupcakes from a shop on FB called FLOC ...they were one of the BEST cupcakes I've ever had..especially the Red Velvet ones..they make designer cakes too.. If you live in Delhi, you MUST try them... *yummmy*

Y--Yoga..i totally understood in 2012 why people love it..but i wish i could be more regular at it ...
Z--Zitlessness...2012 was comparatively zit-free for me and i'm SO THANKFUL to god for that...

Cocktails anyone?

So I JUST saw Cocktail..(the movie..!)..yea I know its kinda late but whatever..I was busy and well had better things to do..Not that i'm free n all now..but somedays  you just WANT a drink right? Yea..So today..This was the cocktail I downloaded! ;)  (pun intended)

Hmmm..I'm not gonna write a review..its a little too late for that.. just gonna bullet point what I liked and what I didn't..Here Goes:

--> LIKES

 * the SCRIPT..!!.. It was a typical Imtiaz Ali..and I absolutely love his writing..! :)
 the dialogues had this colloquial-ness to them..which if you ask me is awesome..i hate corny and over-the-top filmy dialogues!!..seriously..we KNOW we are watching a film..please don't make it THAT obvious.!.!.Its relate-able when they talk like real people..n thumbs up to scriptwriters of cocktail for THAT!!

 * the DIRECTION..offcourse it wasn't THE best direction ever..but i feel it had its positives...That kind of stuff actually happens you know..rather it happens JUST lyk dat..specially that scene when Deepikas dancing in a crowded club..but she feels like shes dancing all ALONE...(feeling lonely in a crowded place..!..YES.. happens ALL the time..truth of LIFE)

 * Deepika's wardrobe...that's obvious ! I actually liked Saif's too

 * Music..

* SAIF...i feel hes an underrated actor..

 * the REAL point that the movie was trying to make(which I already know & follow in life and sincerely hope & wish that other people would follow too) ..BE FRANK..Don't bottle up you feelings.. and DON'T try to be something that your not..(that's for you deepika..when you recover and try to copy that Penty person..DID NOT suit u!!)

--> DISLIKES
* Boman Irani..seemed unnecessary in the movie !

* Randeep Hooda ..won't hurt you to eat a little bit skinny boy !..Go to Salman Khan..and come back looking like a MAN...instead of a 19 year old with AIDS!!

* How the movie sort-of steered towards the notion that " screw the girls who party..fall in love with the ablaa naari !" I really felt that at some places..BUT..Seeing the movie in totality and Imtiaz Ali's previous work AND the fact that it was basically a love story..I'm gonna give it a major benefit of doubt and IGNORE that feeling..

YUP..that's about it...I hope you weren't  expecting me to rate it in stars ! :P :P
